Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Born in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name can be also stylized as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well welcomed by blogs about music. The artist has already released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis in a commercial for Christmas by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. The endorsement earned her some attention. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering a grand piano in the attic. She was fascinated by the possibilities it offered. Her parents May-Britt and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to study music, not for an occupation or pastime but to grow. Thus, she began her own compositions. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as an affinity for Bjork's style. She began performing her music in public when her mother suggested that they could help people not be famous with her music, but rather to help the people around them understand their own importance and how they can affect the world. Piano was her first instrument when she was six, and she started writing music when she turned nine. It was not until she turned 14 that she told her parents. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. The singer says that she simply likes writing music. She believes music can make people feel more relaxed.
